I want to read more books with impactful chapter endings, but i’m not looking for a thriller.
I love when chapter endings offer new insights, or deeply felt emotions coming to the surface, or the prospect of new horizons, or even just a cozy sense of satisfaction. Ideally, I am hoping every chapter in a book offers some compelling feeling at its conclusion.
I got this feeling from the earlier Harry Potter books when I was younger, but I want to find that feeling again and not in a YA novel.
Bonus if the book has a sense of whimsy and/or a generally positive vibe.
