My 12 year old loves to read anything and everything. Lately he’s been very into history and has read a number of history books – both nonfiction and historical fiction – but they tend to gloss over the wars from the last 150 years (both US and international wars). He wants to learn more about them. Can anyone suggest good books for him? He reads at a very advanced level (11th/12th grade level) so they don’t have to be middle school level per se.
