I am a second year university student at UC Berkeley studying Neuroscience and Data Science and have always been interested in the intersection between neuroscience and muscle performance, particularly in relation to athletes and endurance in environments such as hypoxia or hypothermia. I am also eager to explore the topic of lactic acid formation. Does anyone know of any good papers, articles, or books I should read?

In addition, I would love to relate these topics to cycling, marathons, sprinting and swimming!

    1. I’m sure it’s not as scientific as you might like, but I enjoyed Born to Run by Christopher McDougall.
