Hey everyone! I have been a fan of Kathleen Glasgow since GIP came out, and I was stoked when she released ‘Glass Girl’, although I cannot find the audiobook anywhere (I have a hard time focusing when reading, so having the audiobook playing in the background helps)
I used to hate reading, but whenever I read books with heavy, and relatable themes, I really enjoy reading and thrive to read.
Here are a few of the books on my TBR list, and any recommendations would be wonderful!
– ‘Dear Mom, I’m sorry’ by Mary O’Hora
-
‘Elena Vanishing: A Memoir’ by Elena and Clare Dunkle
-
‘Obsessed: A Memoir of My Life with OCD’ by Allison Britz
-
‘Holding Up the Universe’ by Jennifer Niven
-
‘Suicide Notes: A Realistic Portrayal of Teen Suicide and Recovery’ by Micheal Thomas Ford
-
‘You'd Be Home Now’ by Kathleen Glasgow
-
‘Not Hungry (YA Verse)’ by Kate Karyus Quinn
-
‘The Words We Keep’ by Erin Stewart
If any of the books above don’t match the “dark themes” I like, let me know! also any suggestions are appreciated!
ps. i miss when booktok wasn’t all smut, i miss when GIP was trending 😭
