I used to read a lot more as a kid and teen but have lost a lot of interest in trying new books and it’s hard to get started or stay interested in something new, so I end up rereading stuff I’m familiar with like Percy Jackson, or squires tales or just anything I read growing up. If anyone has any suggestions that are engaging for people who have a hard time focusing I’d love to hear them!

Some other books I liked were:
Fablehaven, Rangers apprentice, Redwall, Harry Potter, The Mickey Bolitar, and the Septimus Heap series. I’ve listened to the Sookie Stackhouse books on audible and liked those but I didn’t like the Aurora Teagarden series also I didn’t care for the narrator, which is another reason I want to read again because finding a narrator I like is hard.

I found it easier to get back into reading after picking up these light reads:

      2. Welcome to Hyunam-dong bookshop

Try Neil shusterman. I really loved his unwind and scythe series’. They are YA but he’s an excellent writer and I enjoyed them as a late 20s adult lol
