I just finished Drop of Corruption by RBJ and ahhhhhhhhh I need more! Been waiting a while for that one, and the first one was just as good.
Really enjoying the series so far. It's a mystery-murder novel (to start with) + fantasy elements. Characters are so well-written, dialogue is 10/10, and plot is mwah. Can never tell what the plot twist is going to be. Writing can also range from serious to hilarious at times.
SO looking for something similar while I wait for the next installment in the series. What fantasy mystery books are out there that can satisfy my itch?

The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett.
I have to throw out After Atlas by Emma Newman, it’s a Sci-fi mystery but so good. It’s the second book in a series but the first novel is very loosely tied and you won’t miss almost anything reading this novel by itself.
