Going to the beach this year for vacation, and I’ve got a decent amount of gift card $
on Amazon (not my ideal for book purchases, but still). Looking for some recommendations. I’ll take any flavor of romance (straight, gay, lesbian, etc). Big fan of fantasy and magic, and I enjoy a good ole romance novel but I can be pickier about those. Overall I’m open to pretty much any genre of fiction. I’m fine with more obscure rather than super popular stuff too, I love finding new authors
I don’t enjoy stories with a ton of secondhand embarrassment or serious miscommunication issues which can come up a lot in romance. Some of my favorite romances are ones specifically written with minimal miscommunication between characters (Heidi Cullinan’s Copper Point Medical trilogy is great at this). What are some of the novels coming to mind?
