For anyone curious, it was The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub. I think the length was way too much for but I don't regret reading it, a maybe 3.9/5 because the main character has grown a lot on me. I'm looking forward to reading the Black House but definitely not anytime soon.
Right now, I just feel empty, and while I want to keep my reading momentum up, I'm not sure if I want to start another book this week. Or maybe I do, but something far more manageable and easier to consume. I have a couple more Stephen King books but they're long as hell. What kind of books do you usually pick after reading something so long or do you just take a break for a couple of days before reading another one, regardless of its story length?
