Firstly I just want to say as a 29F, it has been incredibly healing for me to stock up my kindle library with all my favorite books from when I was in middle school and high school- I love the nostalgia, and rereading a lot of these books after such a long time has been so comforting, and brings me back to simpler times!!! I will make a list of the series I already have, and I’m looking for more YA (sci-fi/fantasy) series that are similar that were released or popular during that time!

Fantasy/sci-fi:
**Divergent** series by Veronica Roth (but the third book is a dumpster fire so honestly I’d just read the first two)
**The Winner’s Curse** by Marie Rutkoski (never got around to finishing this series but I really loved the first book and second was decent)
**The Lunar Chronicles** by Marissa Meyer (first book is *Cinder*, my favorite was *Scarlet*; haven’t read the last book)
Contemporary fiction:
