I still remember how I felt after reading that in elementary and that was over 20 years ago so I understand.
It recently came out and I haven’t read it but all the reviews I’ve been seeing recently for Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez says it’s stupidly badly written.

I wouldn’t call it stupidly badly written, but I thought The House in the Cerulean Sea was an easy, fun read.

The Talisman Ring by Georgette Heyer. Two couples, absurd shenannigans, dry humor, slapstick, lots of fun.

* “The Love Hypothesis” by Ali Hazelwood: STEMinist rom-com that’s pure fluff – easy and fun
* “Kiss Quotient” by Helen Hoang: Autistic coder finds love with a male escort – sweet and quirky
* “Red, White & Royal Blue” by Casey McQuiston: First son falls for a prince – charming and escapist
* “Book Lovers” by Emily Henry: Literary agent and editor clash then connect – witty and meta
* Any Harlequin Romance novel: Peak bad writing, guaranteed brain candy – pick one with a ridiculous premise
