Okay so I’m looking to read what men would consider a book they’ve read with their favorite romance. So ideally the book is from a male or third person perspective. And i want to just step into your shoes and read something that just made you like “wow, I’m in love with this fictional woman.” The book doesn’t have to be based around that, I know many male favs involve a super cool adventure and awesome lore. So yeah, thanks in advance, I’d love to step into your shoes and really experience a fictional woman who tugged your heart strings! I will say that part of this is just me being curious about the male psyche and what really gets guys going. Just like how you could read women’s books and see there are some male archetypes that really hit with us as a guilty pleasure 😅
Also, i am not well-read on many male favorites, but if you have noticed any patterns in archetypes of females that have gotten guys smitten I’d love to hear about that too. And lastly, please keep things fun and light and judgement/hate free, hate that i gotta say that but what is reddit without random misplaced anger haha

This is a super interesting question and I never really thought about it but the first thing that came to my mind was The Likeness by Tana French. The main character in that book immediately came to my mind as my answer.
Second by the main character in the silo series. She is awesome.
