I usually go for literary fiction about the human experience and relationships, but I also often read non-fiction books surrounding politics and history. However, I've recently read the new Sunrise on the Reaping book and found the political undertones combined with fiction really engaging. I'm looking for more books that are both political and creative, but preferably where they are more allegorical with depth to the characters and worldbuilding, and not necessarily solely political (not as overt as soemthing like Animal Farm).
