Basically what the title says! I have been paralyzed by an extreme sense of dread about my massive student debt. I want to face my not so great financial future, but I get so overwhelmed that I keep avoiding it. It would help to engage with narrative that touches on this topic. I would just like to see how people deal with the emotions and social stigma of it so I feel less alone, and perhaps can get some perspective. And courage to deal with it myself. My student debt is truly extraordinary and shocks people when I talk about it. I feel alone and like my life is over.
I am mainly looking for fiction because it is purely the emotional side of things. I currently can't handle making specific plans. But if there is an amazing non-fiction book on it that's welcome as well, for later.
