History of Wolves by Emily Fridlund

      Florida Woman by Deb Rogers

Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata

    2. Most books by Thomas Bernhard, especially “The limeworks” and “Concrete”.
Georges Bataille “Story of the eye” 🙂
      Eugène Ionesco “The hermit”
      Samuel Beckett “Molloy”
      Sigismund Krzizjanovsky “Quadraturin”
      Franz Kafka

    3. I recently enjoyed Roberto Bolano’s “Telephone Calls”. It’s a collection of short stories.

    4. Earthings by Sayaka Murata (honestly I couldn’t finish it- it was very unsettling)

Convenience store woman also by sayaka murata – this one is less unsettling than earthlings

A lot of Miranda July’s books are wonderfully strange. No one belongs here more than you- is a collection of short stories book I read maybe 13 years ago & still can’t stop thinking about

Seep by Chana Porter. It wasn’t my usual pick- but it was really good.

I Keep My Exoskeletons to Myself. It is a beautiful story of grief, but set in a world where anyone who commits a crime gets a second shadow attached to them. It was so amazing.

    6. Two books so strange I haven’t finished them but hope to Tender is the Flesh and Geek Love
