    I’m looking for suggestions of literary fiction where language comes up as a major theme.

    Some examples are Tara June Winch’s *The Yield* which uses a Wiradjuri dictionary as a major framing device, Diego Marani’s *New Finnish Grammar* where the narrators’ struggles to learn Finnish shape the plot and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s *Americanah* in which the characters speak in untranslated Igbo.
