I am currently in a bit of a reading slump, and I need something that is pure fun. I'm not usually a romance reader, but I do like a good love story. However, I'd prefer it to be grounded in reality, without too many sappy elements.
I've been curious about Emily Henry for some time now, but couldn't really decide which one of her books to pick up first. I'm also open to recommendations for books by other authors.
If it helps, I loved Dolly Alderton's "Everything I Know About Love", and even though it is a memoir, it is the best example of what I'm looking for.
Thanks!
