Hello everyone! I'm looking for book recommendations – I'm currently in eating disorder recovery and struggling with the effects of a malnourished brain, reading is the only way I can get myself to sit still. I'm looking for books that are easy, but don't necessarily feel childish, just not too complex and digestible.
Currently reading:
Yumi and the nightmare painter – Brandon Sanderson
Books I've read and enjoyed:
The reckoners – Brandon Sanderson
Darker shades of magic – VE Schwab
A baker's guide to defensive baking – T. Kingfisher
Mortal Instruments (though I can't seem to chew through the fifth book, so I'm taking a break) – Cassandra Clare
Legends & Lattes – Travis Baldree
Once Upon A Broken Heart – Stephanie Garber
Neverwhere – Neil Gaiman
Harry Potter – J.K. Rowling
The Cruel Prince – Holly Black
Books I haven't enjoyed:
The song of Achilles, Circe, The stolen heir, scythe, The invisible life of Addie LaRue, Gallant, American Gods
Thank you!

The Witcher series, first two are nice short stories and the latter 5 have an overarching plot.
