Just finishing up reading God Emperor of Dune and loving my space themed stories at the moment but looking to move away from the Dune series as I just read the 4 books back to back, needing suggestions. I like scientific accuracy but not fussed if its more fiction with the science, just wanting a good space themed read to dive into. 👨‍🚀

If you want a military sci-fi series Galaxy’s Edge: Legionnaire is worth checking out.

If you haven’t read Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy it would be a good break from all of the serious Dune stuff. Just kick back enjoy the ride and have fun.

The Murderbot Diaries should be on your short list. The first book is All Systems Red

Enders Game is the easy answer, but I’ll go with ***Cloud Cuckoo Land*** by Anthony Doerr – hear me out.

It’s about a quarter set in space, with parallel stories in 1400’s Constantinople, mid-20th Century Idaho, early 21st century Idaho, and space. But it’s stunning and wonderful and vast and you should read it.

The Expanse series by James SA Corey

      Delta-V by Daniel Suarez

Red Rising by Pierce Brown (first book is not in space though)
