I used to love romance in my books, but now it honestly irritates me? So I need a break. I still want fantasy and I don't mind if there's a little love in the mix, but I can't take having the story on pause so we can have the characters do nothing but long for each other.
Also would prefer a stand alone, but I'm open to reading sagas. If I like it I'll just have more to read after all

Can I go the other way here and ask for the best most smuttiest romance fantasy novel you enjoy? Most of the books I read are demure about romance but my wife reads fan fiction smut and I’m curious if there is good quality filth out there.
