After spending the last 30 years raising children, my mom is finally going to be an empty nester and has no hobbies. I’ve tried getting her into various art hobbies but none have stuck. I’ve tried to get her to join a walking group or a running club but she’s not in the best health condition because of a weakened heart due to Covid. She said she wants to give reading a try, we did Libby for a bit but she needs a physical copy to read. What book would you recommend for someone who’s getting back into reading? She prefers thrillers, mysteries, suspense. Not a big fan of fantasy or horror (which are my preferred reading lol)

Anything Agatha Christie is fun, so is John Grisham
The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman
