    In my novel, the narrator doesn’t reveal something she knows from the start—that she and another key character were lovers and co-conspirators. It’s not a twist, exactly—more like selective storytelling. I’m curious: does this kind of reveal feel powerful or manipulative to you when done in fiction? What makes it work (or not)?
