    Hey everyone,

I've been thinking a lot lately about how much my attention span has changed and not for the better. I used to love reading, but these days I find myself stuck in constant reading slumps. Even when I want to read, I end up picking up my phone and scrolling instead. It's like my brain is addicted to the instant gratification of social media, and sitting still with a book feels… exhausting?

Apparently I'm not alone. I was reading (ironically, online) that in the UK, the average person now spends about 4 hours a day on their phone. Meanwhile, a 2023 survey found that almost 1 in 3 Brits hadn't read a single book in the past year. That's wild and honestly a little scary.

I miss the feeling of getting lost in a book for hours. But no matter how good the story is, I get distracted after a few pages. Has anyone else gone through this? How did you rebuild your concentration and actually get back into reading properly?

I'd love to hear your tips, routines, apps, mindset shifts, anything that's worked for you.

    Thanks in advance!
