Suspense/total page turner

I've read a few boring books (thrillers) that were so dull or unbelievable. I really want a fast paced thriller/mystery now. Like edge of the seat stuff that will keep me interested. A female lead would be nice and no fantasy or supernatural stuff. Also maybe not super well known. I just reread "the girl on the train" which I liked but the MC makes so many stupid decisions but the writing was good. Any suggestions?
