    Hi Readers,
I (23M) used to read lots of book when I was in my high school and college. But now my phone and social media addiction has taken over me. I am surfing online with searches like “best books” “best thriller books” but ending up procastinating reading. Suggest me a book which will help me to get back into reading.

Genre : thriller, detective novels, SciFi

Maybe start off with some short stories? The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connelly might be right up your alley. I would like to also encourage you to widen your genre choices. The genres you were into in the past may not be what you are into now and that’s why you have a hard time reading. Perhaps give other genres a shot. You may be surprised.

    2. The Vinyl Detective series by Andrew Cartmel might fit the bill. The first book is called *Written in Dead Wax*.

Also look into Simone St James books for mystery/thrillers. She’s hit or miss for some people, but I enjoy the ones I have read, and they’re fairly quick reads to ease you back into the habit.
