I am unsure what genre I fall into

I seem to like quite a few genres – but I will try to explain what type of book I would like to read.

For context, I have always been into fantasy. I am not a huge fan of crime (unless it is really good – I like The Chain). In the last year, I have branched out into other genres, but I need more authors. Here are my favourite, in order:

1. Ling Ma – Severance quickly became my favourite book.

2. Emily St John Mandel – I have read all her books. I wasn’t a fan of Sea of Tranquility but loved the rest.

3. Andy Weir – PHM is my 2nd Favourite book, and The Martian is up there. Artemis was really good too. I like the science fiction.

4. Blake Crouch – I really liked Recursion. Dark matter was decent. I thought upgrade was not very good.

5. Stephen King – started reading Stephen King. I have read Misery, and currently on The Shining. I plan to read more of his books, but then I need another author.

I like many more authors, but I think the four above give the best indication to either: the writing style, or subgenre I am looking for. Thanks!
