Suggest me a horror book whose main character is a totally average woman

I’m stuck inside for a few months because I featured a vertebrae two weeks ago, and my friends keep giving me romantasy to read and I finally realized I keep hating them because like every FMC is ✨secretly super special and not like other girls✨ (and also usually just kind of rude??). I’d much rather read a book about a totally normal woman (men are fine too, I just prefer the main character to be a woman most of the time), and I’m pretty partial to horror, so help me find some books to read while I can’t do anything! 😬
