Something like 3 body problem?

I just finished 3 body problem (all 3 books). It was amazing.

I found it after searching for sci-fi books when I finished Project Hail Mary (currently my favorite sci-fi book).

I've read The martian and many Michael Crichton books (sphere , dino books, and most others)

I'm looking for something epic like the above books. Not interested in the Expanse books because the show was so good that I think I've gotten what I need out of it and don't need to go back.

I'm also not interested in whimsical type sci-fi, I want the serious stuff!

Any other recommendations??

I should note, when I read I mean I "listened" everything I read is in audiobook format. Take it away!
