Suggest me a book I could use for a comic strip inspiration for my college final

So I was instructed To find a book or make up a story for this assignment and draw it out! It HAS to be a simple story about two people trying to get on as friends after an arguement. I think it should be geared towards younger children. If anyone has any ideas! would be a GIANT help
