My mum is a massive bookworm and for her birthday I want to upgrade her 17 year old kindle. I also want to pre-fill it with 63 books for each year of her life (cheesy, I know!).
She is open to most genres but never caught her reading much fantasy or non-fiction. She loves books by Lisa See, Robert Galbraith (we will forever disagree on that but hey), Murakami, Donna Tartt, liked things like A Gentleman in Moscow and American Dirt. She has read most of the no1 bestsellers from the last few years, and also loves a good whodunnit. Basically if the majority population likes it, she will probably too!
Help me fill the list please!!

There are a lot of free kindle books you could add, depending on her preference.
Those are hitting hard:
1. Horus rising
2. False gods
3. Galaxy in flames
-Kate Atkinson’s Jackson Brodie series (I feel like he has Cormoran Strike vibes)
-Elly Griffith’s Ruth Galloway series (this one may be a little long if you’re only doing 63)
This is an amazing idea and you’re a great kid! ☺️
I would check out some Goodreads top lists from the last few years to start with. Also the website Standard ebooks has free to download public domain classics. They are all very well done and could be good to include some classics too. That’s a great gift idea!
Wow what a great idea! I’m stealing that for sure 🙂
I would suggest Richard Osman, Kate Atkinson, Karen Rose, Lee Child, Annabelle Monaghan, Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Happy birthday mum!
