8yr old kid is constantly slouching everywhere – can't stand up straight and only uses couches to sit down. This is after maintaining good posture in younger years. My reasoning about why good posture is falling on deaf years 😉 Please suggest a good readable book for this age with pictures, etc – thanks!

I’m not sure about ones with tons of pictures (although there are certain editions of both these series that have more but they’re still great series for his age, nevertheless)!
– The Magic Tree House series! It’s what I read when I was his age and there’s 130 books total. It was one of the biggest series around back then but it’s like it’s faded into obscurity now & I don’t ever see anyone mention it, but it was the first series that ever got me hooked and starting growing my reading skills so it’d be good for him in that way too. It’s about siblings who travel in a magic tree house to different worlds, lands, and tines- with a new adventure in each book. They’re short enough I used to be able to get through half of one in a night but would definitely keep him busy for a while lol.
– Harry Potter (might seem like an – obvious. I remember all my classmates reading them at the school library when I was in 2nd grade)
