Hi Reddit, I'm 16F, and I pretty much have nothing to do these days. I'm homeschooled, don't have friends, whatever common reddit stuff… I wanted to get into reading, but I find it extremely overwhelming to find a good book.

I'm dyslexic, and I prefer short stories. I like fairytales, vampires, horror, and generally fiction. A big problem I run into is overwhelmingly thick books, and a big thing I run into is that whenever I step into a bookstore, every book is a "NYT best seller" and "Rated #1 by XYZ" even though it is the same recycled, mediocre, millennial slop.

I apologize if it sounds pretentious, I tried reading classics, but the words are too advanced for me to enjoy the stories, particularly found "Lord of the Flies" and "Catcher in the Rye" extremely boring.
