I'm looking for science fiction books that primarily focus on hyper-sleep gone wrong. (I don't have any references to give as an example, save for the Alien movie and I think a Stephen King short story if I'm recalling correctly.) Like a setting where someone awakes far beyond what was planned and has to deal with having lost family members to centuries or awakens to a universe that has evolved into something alien or is actually filled with aliens. It doesn't have to be that specific, but I would love some despairing existential dread.
