My husband(M33) and myself(F31) just went through the hardest 2 weeks of our lives. Starting from hitting a massive financial setback, having a small water leak in our office, plumbing issues in our kitchen and the worst of it, having to put down our sweet boy, Niko, who was 8 years old and was going through kidney failure. Sometimes my grief feels too much to bear and his missing physical presence is a constant reminder that I’ll never hold him again. The sobs and tears are almost constant.
I haven’t been able to focus enough to read in weeks and I know I need to start working back into a routine. I would love any books that may have helped you with grief or helped put more smiles and laughs in your life. I love fiction, non-fiction, pretty much open to most genres. Not sure if I could ready a story about an animal passing though.
Thank you❤️
