I want to read a book about relatively likeable people in their 20’s with a romance aspect to it. No fantasy, just human interaction. Bonus points if the book makes me feel very sad and introspective.

The Sense of an Ending or The Marriage Plot have some similarities. I struggled to finish Normal People as I just found it too sad so i might not be the best person to make a recommendation.
