Hi, I finished Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn after watching the show and I’m now in my Bridgerton era!
I read all the books except for the first book and my favorite one is Romancing Mister Bridgerton(#4). I tried the first book of the Smyth-Smith series but didn’t really enjoy it.
I also read the Wallflower series by Lisa Kleypas and it was also great, especially the third book!
Can anyone recommend a similar regency/Victorian romance series?
It would also be great if it has introverted but strong female leads or pre-established friendship!

I’ve always thought Tessa Dare had a similar vibe as Julia Quinn, so that would be the closest for me. Try A Week to Be Wicked.
At the time the Bridgerton books came out, everyone and her mother were putting out similar books. Other authors you could try: Mary Balogh (start with her Bedwyn series), Eloisa James, Loretta Chase, Stephanie Laurens.
