Hello, high school senior here.
I was wondering what are some lower level/not super difficult classic books to read. If you can look into my post history, you can read on a post that explains why from a month ago (any advice is appreciated). But basically I'm struggling with reading comprehension and understanding. Luckily, I was able to read Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, and The Old Man and the Sea in English class this year and my teacher was great at explaining things to us.
But yeah, thank you.
Edit: Don't know how to pin posts on my profile on mobile. It's not far down. Sorry.

Pride and Prejudice if you are into romance
If acceptable, Frankenstein and Rebecca are fairly easy and entertaining reads. I personally enjoy Jane Eyre as well. Fahrenheit 451, Animal Farm, 1984, The Lord of the Flies, and To Kill A Mockingbird are also fairly easy to read. Life Pro Tip: even if someone says it’s a classic and you SHOULD read it, if you absolutely hate it, put it down and move on to something you enjoy (unless it’s specifically assigned for class). You may be able to read and enjoy it later in life, or maybe it just isn’t for you. Life is too short to waste it reading books you hate when there are books you’ll love out there.
