The great alone and the women by kristin hannah come to mind

I would look into Ruth Ozeki as she writes loneliness very well. Starting with “A Tale for the Time Being.”
Another would be “A Gentleman in Moscow” in which a man finds himself restricted to the hotel he lived in, but he makes lemons out of lemonade. It is a story about loneliness and hope.
Murakami writes loneliness well, but I have trouble comprehending his books, but if you don’t then that’s a definite option. Primarily “Norwegian Wood”.
Then a book a lot of teens read, but I think can be read at any age is “Perks of Being a Wallflower.”
Lastly, “The Road” by Cormac McCarthy, a post apocalyptic tale with heavy doses of loneliness.
