I seek constant validation from my girlfriend that she doesn’t hate me the second we stop talking or texting. It causes me so much stress and anxiety, and I don’t want to push her away because of my own insecurities. Is there a book I can read that can help me grow and learn how to deal with these emotions?
I figured this would come in the form of self-help or non-fiction, but I typically read fiction so I’m open to either, if such a book exists.

I love The Happiness Trap by Russ Harris. It will focus how your behavior is influenced by your fears and fusion to your thoughts, prompt you to explore your self concept, and promote living through your values vs your fears. Easy to read and grasp. It could help you relate to your insecurities in a different way that aren’t so impactful on your life/relationship.
