I’m (28f) travelling through France solo in December, starting in Paris and making my way down south. I’m hoping to sit and do a lot of journaling and self reflection. Would love any suggestions on a book I could take with me?

    1. Wild by cheryl strayed is about a walk through the pacific crest trail, so backpacking, but is a solo trip where a woman meets many different people and relies on herself during a long journey

    2. A Woman’s Battles and Transformations by Édouard Louis. Who Killed My Father is also good. And probably anything by Annie Ernaux. They are both brilliant French authors. I’m reading Do What They Say or Else right now. It’s all stream of consciousness, but not at all in an annoying way.
