I am an only child and have foolishly decided to write a story about a poor brother and sister in the 1800s. The brother is 16 and the sister is 12. For reference material I'd like to read something of quality to plug some holes in my knowledge of common brother/sister dynamics. I'd prefer something older, like classic literature, but am open to more modern writings. Thanks!
