    Hello!

I am looking for a book to gift to a friend of mine. His favorite book of all times is Perks of being a Wallflower – I think he read it at the right time for himself, and I guess it helped him a lot. (I don't know if he would love it still the same if he had read it now, in his 30s).

Also his favorite/comfort movie (or maybe one of his favorites?) is Call me by your name. I wanted to just give him that book + the sequel book, Find me (he hadn't read both but he said he wants to); but it's not available anywhere in my country.

A little bit about him: he's 30, introverted, gay, has social anxiety (he masks it really well, I didn't notice it at all until he said it), can be a bit quiet when you don't know him well. I think he is a bit prone to getting depressed, because he likes depressingly sad songs but chooses not to listen to them, so book suggestions that are not too depressing and a bit more on the hopeful side will be nice 🙂

    Thanks a lot in advance!
