I finally got around to reading Empire Falls by Richard Russo, and absolutely loved it. It was slow to get going, but wow. So, anyway… I want more books like this..
Small towns, eccentric characters, drama, life going on around ya regardless of situations,etc. Russo is an excellent writer.
Is his other books like this one? If so, I’ll just read them.

The powder mage series and then the gods of blood and powder series are a fantastic epic fantasy series.
