NO sad suggestions and based on my suggestions?

I can’t deal with any more sadness. The current best sellers are poorly written, teen fiction type of books – the maid, Colleen, Hoover books, you get the gist. I remember back in the day, books like Kite Runner were the best sellers (amazing book by the way). How did it change so much 😆

What I’ve liked in the past is:

-Harry Potter (obviously super entertaining) -Memoirs of a geisha (life wasn’t as sad back then lol)
-The light between two oceans,
– Da Vinci code,
-To kill a Mockingbird,
-Count of Monte Cristo – this one was pretty entertaining in the second half
-Jekyll and Hyde

Not too enthused about reading a classic unless it’s a really good story because the writing style is boring. TIA!
