We have a 2 year old son (going on 3). We read him several books a day, but are tired of repeating the same books. The issue with the library is that not all books are created equally, and there have been some quite ordinary picks that I wouldn't want to read again.
He's read most of the modern classics (the Julia Donaldson's, Mem Fox's..) I've read that the under-8 market is the most financially dire, so I'd really love to support some newer writers by going on a book buying spree.
Can anybody please recommend some good quality toddler books (ages 2-5) that have been released in the last 2-3 years?
