It is by far “THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ”
This book shows that his life was more than just the laughs and applause. He revealed a vulnerable side battling personal demons. He shared his real-life struggles despite having “fame and success”. It's definitely not the happy ride I expected…..instead, it's a ROLLER COASTER of emotions.
Matthew wasn't the least bit like Chandler…he just longed to have a normal life, a wife and kids.
Him being the funniest man on TV pains me to see him go through so much in life. Especially the part where he frequently talked about the hole in his heart.

I wasn’t a Friend’s fan but we read this in my bookclub. This guy wanted to blame everyone for his failures and never took responsibility. I thought it was insightful at the end when he said that he thought that at this point in his life that he’d have a loving wife and kids – but he never could give up his ego and be satisfied with anyone or anything. Always looking for something better. Just a sad existence IMO. Proof that money can’t buy everything.
