Cozy reads I’ve read this year were Legends and Lattes and The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches.
Legends and Lattes is essentially when an orc is at the stage of her life where adventuring, killing, bounties have become …undesirable. So she sets out to change her lifestyle by opening a café and meet interesting people along the way. Ultimately, I’d say it’s a kind book. Don’t expect any high fantasy worldbuilding, only people and their connections.
Secret Society, on the other hand: magic is real. But it has to be kept hidden! Why? Well, you’ve heard of the Salem Witch Trials, surely. Now fast forward to modern day age, where our protagonist, a middle-aged witch, struggles with tradition and her love for magic. Sprinkle in the appearance of young witches thrust into her care and you have a story about found family helping one another.
