I'm looking for some suggestions for new sci-fi/fantasy books with moderately heavy snark (and with that hopefully some comical elements).
Some books that I've loved:
- Carl the Dungeon Crawler series
- The Bobiverse series
- The Dresden Files series
- The Murderbot Diaries series
- A Man with One of Those Faces (not sci-fi/fantasy, but loved the humor)
Recent books that I haven't enjoyed as much:
- Leviathan Wakes/The Expanse Series (good, but too grim and lacking any snark/levity)
Recent books that I've hated:
- The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (waaay too slow, lacking snark/humor, felt like someone took some HR training modules and put a sci-fi veneer on them and made them 400+ pages long)
