I’m going to suggest an author for rom-com Jennifer Crusie. I love her books. Some are from the early 2000s, so may feel dated. Welcome to Temptation and Bet Me are two of my favorites. She also partnered with Bob Mayer and did a couple books that are a combination of action and rom-com. I enjoyed Don’t Look Down and Agnes and the Hit Man.

Veronica Speedwell series by Deanna Raybourne is a very fun slow burn historical romance and mystery series.

Wrexford and Sloane series by Andrea Penrose is another slow burn historical romance and mystery series I like.

Countess of harleigh series by Dianne Freeman is another mystery and historical slow burn romance.
