The Summer Book by Tove Jansson 🙂
Okay I’ve got two for you:
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers
Siddhartha and the Tao of Pooh have me thinking you’d also be a fan of Ursula Le Guin. I’d definitely recommend her Earthsea books, starting with A Wizard of Earthsea. And then Five Ways to Forgiveness is a collection of five novellas she wrote around a central theme of freedom, empowerment, and forgiveness.
