    Hi!
Ive started a morning routine (stretching, journaling, meditation, sudoku).

I've included reading a few pages in this morning routine. However, the book I'm reading is very theoretical.

I would like a book, where i can read small passages every morning and have a nice start of my day.

I'm thinking of a book inviting me to be present, or to stand still and be grateful.

    Thank you.

I haven’t actually read them yet, but I was recently suggested *The Daily Stoic* by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman, and *Simple Abundance* by Sarah Ban Breathnach, which might be suitable.

    2. I love “A Poem a Day.” There’s more than one volume. I read at the end of my day, but I can see it being just as lovely in the mornings.

Maybe Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, or The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday if you want a more guided tour of stoic philosophy that includes Marcus Aurelius along with other important Stoics

    4. I actually have done this in the past with the Tao Te Ching. I really like Ursula Le Guin’s translation if you can find it. It’s a great way to start the day in a calm, grounded mindset.
